  1. Works as described 5 Star Review

New fitting works as described. That is, it fits in the non-standard MV-50 head outlet and it allows connection to any female standard quick-disconnect air hose fitting. This it to replace the (non-U
S standard) fittings that came with early MV-50s. Now I can connect any air hose to my MV-50.

  3. Replaced Type Q fitting with Type M. 5 Star Review

I have a Q-Industries M-50 I purchased about 7 years ago with Type Q fitting and I wanted to use standard Type M fitting hose to extend the hose length. So I purchased the Type M fitting for my pump and it worked great.

  5. Quality fitting but problems removing old one 5 Star Review

I wanted to change the fitting to the new style M fitting when I replaced my broken hose. Fitting & new hose looks great and the price is very reasonable. However when I went to remove the old fitting from the compressor I could not loosen the fitting and with just a moderate amount of pressure the hose fitting snapped off of the compressor head. I tried an "easy out" tool on the remaining piece in the compressor head but all that did was crack the thin compressor heads wall where it screws in.
So think twice before you decide to order and change this fitting.
